I was asked by a friend to design a tattoo for her based on one that she had seen with a couple's names woven into a heart design, but she asked if I could do it with Mum, Dad and Tony instead...........this is what I came up with, this is for you Mandi :)

And now for .............. Christmas!!
I know it is still just about summer, but I have been busy designing a Christmas card with a bit of a cycling theme, in honour of the shop where I now work. The shop is Bicycles by Design , based here in the Ironbridge Gorge. Pete and Rob, who run the company, also run, The Tandem Shop and The Tandem Experience which was my inspiration for this Christmas card design, Santa on a Tandem!
The cards measure 18cm x 12.5cm, and are available from myself. They are packaged individually and cost £1.95 each + P&P, (including envelope). I am able to accept payments by cheque/bankers draft or Paypal, for further info please email me @ blackdragon1313@gmail.com

Animal bookmarks
Having made the floral bookmarks, I was told by the young daughter of a friend that she needed a bookmark, so I thought I'd better make some bookmarks that might appeal more to children (as well as adults)! These are the result!

And......more flowers!
So, I have this T-shirt which I really like, but which had a couple of bleach stains and a bit of paint on, as well as two small holes.......(think ferret claws might be the culprits there!), and I thought how can I just stop this shirt from looking grubby every time I put it on? The answer was simple......paint it! :)

I wondered what it would be like to paint my flowers onto a canvas................. so I did, and here it is.......
Flower vases........
Now some of you who know me and who have been following my blog for awhile, will know that I have my own way of painting flowers........... well recently I have been using this method to decorate various vases and pots.............

New tattoo design..............
I have been doing an acrylic painting of a rose with barbed wire and Ivy wrapped around it, which got me to thinking I would like something similar as a tattoo, and this is what I have come up with. Will be having it done by the very excellent Karl at red Dragon in Horsham, at the end of the month.......can't wait!
.......and it is now done......here is the pic .............

Pastels..............
Ok, last post for today, I have also very recently started using pastels, and this is my first attempt...................
Landscapes............
In the past I have painted a few landscapes in oil, whilst I enjoyed doing it at the time, it is no longer a medium that I use. I have however recently tried my hand at landscape paintings in acrylic, and this is my first, it is a small block canvas showing the cooling towers at Ironbridge power station.............
And below are a few of my previous oil landscapes..............

I'm back!
Well, I can't believe it is 2 1/2 years since I last posted on this blog! It has been an extremely eventful and hectic two years, during which I have been able to do very little art or craft work. However hopefully things are now settling down a bit so that I am going to be able to get more done. I wanted to post a few of my pet portraits on here, which I have done over the years, and some other bits and pieces, so I will start with the pet/animal portraits...................
