Tag...............

This is what happens when I tidy my desk!! I found this little strip of lovely grunge paper and couldn't bear to throw it away, so I made this tag, again using some butterflies which I had previously made using fantasy film and crystal lacqeurs and my butterfly stamps. The tag was finished off with flowers that were drawn on using Adirondack pens.

Having had my arm twisted to participate in the moo swap on CSF, I have been playing, and made these moos. The top row are actually silver holographic card, with silver peel offs and flowers which have been debossed with a scribing tool. The others have been done with my painted flowers and my dragon stamp, again finished off with peel offs.

Cuttlebug birthday card

I have today been playing with the new alphabet dies that I was given for Christmas, and I have made this birthday card. It has been finished of with peel offs, flowers that I cut, by hand, out of some paper that I had coloured with alchohol inks, and my usual painted flowers.

At last!

This is the first canvas I ever made, and yes I know it is p**k, but it was for a friends birthday who likes the colour! (I believe therapy is available for this unfortnate condition!) Anyway, it is now her Birthday...........Happy Birthday Feefs.................. so I can now at last put it on my blog :) It's made in a similar way to the subsequent canvasses, so I won't bore you with the details again here :)

Another canvas

Here is another canvas that I made for a very good friend of mine, made in a very similar way to my canvas, only this time I used my butterfly stamps, and fusible fibres/fantasy film, glitter and acetate to make the butterflies.

Playing!

Well have been very self indulgent recently, and despite the long "to do" list, stuck on my wall...............I've been making something for me!! It occurred to me that I don't actually have anything with my flowers on, so I have made myself a canvas! I covered the canvas with some scrummy Creative Impressions paper and distressed the edges with black distress ink. The words from the sheet off paper..."Be true to yourself" I tore out and attached to the bottom corner of the canvas. I used some left over paper to cut out some flowers, the edges of which were again distressed, before the flowers were covered completely in Glossy Accents.I attached these to the canvas, and added gems using stickles paint. more flowers were painted on, gems added and leaves painted. The canvas was then finished off with butterfly stickers. The colour has not come out very well in the photo, as it is actually darker and more gothicy than it appears! :)

Dufex cards

Well..........I saw these beautiful dufex card blanks, which I thought might make stunning cards when married with my flowers and some butterflies, so voila, here's the result! The blue card has been folded and cut according to the instructions included with the card blanks, a piece of Joanna Sheen backing paper was added to the middle panel, before I painted my flowers, again highlighted with flat backed gems. Two butterfly stickers were added to complete the card.

For the p**k (!) card I cut the dufex blank and attached a panel to the front of a pearl card blank. I cut a section form the edge of the card blank, using deckle edge scissors, and attached another section of the dufex card to the inside back of the card. I then used a corner punch to decorate the front corners of the card. Flowers and butterfly were then added as before.

Last ones

Ok I promise this is the last lot of these butterfly ATCs I'll bore you with, but I have put them on for those of you who are practising my flowers, if you look closely you'll see these ones have buds for you to try, instead of the normal small flowers, enjoy!

On a roll!

Well I am still making ATCs, these are made in the same way as the last ones except that I have used lovely Acetate butterfly and dragonfly stickers that I bought ages ago from QVC.I have also used flower soft on the bulrushes. The gold and white flowers and leaves have been painted using Pebeo touch and cerne releif paints.

Molly's Card

I had to make a card for a rather special lady who will soon be 90 years old! Using a cream pearl card blank, I embossed a line around close to the edge, and highlighted it with a peeloff. I then drew a scroll on a piece of plain cream card and antiqued it using a distress ink pad. I wrote the message freehand with a two way glue pen and foiled it using foiling glitter, I attached the scroll to the card using foam pads. I attached some purple funky flowers, and used chunky self adhesive stones for the centres. I painted the small flowers and leaves using Liquid pearls and Ranger acrylics. Meanwhile using my own design butterfly stamps, I stamped the butterflies onto acetate, and glittered on the back, I then attached these to the card using dst and foam pads. I stamped and embossed my bee, and coloured it using Aquatone pencils, cut him out and attached him using foam pads.

CSF Envelope Book

As you may know I'm team leader for The Six Pistols for the CSF Birthday Books Challenge, and as such had to make the covers for our book, so.......here they are!

This is the front cover of the book, which is themed on Flowers! I decoupaged the roses from a spare sheet of the paper that I had used to cover the board. I then added some small painted flowers to highlight the main images. The F is a small cardboard diecut letter, which I covered in metal leaf, the rest of the word was likewise done in metal leaf, over the top of a glue pen.

The back cover had the ribbon attached before
covering the inside surf
ace, and the writing was
again done with a two way glue pen and then
covered with metal leaf
