Sympathy card

Having recently received some bad news from a friend of mine, I had cause to make a sympathy card for her. It is a bit unusual for sympathy card, but I was quite happy with the result. I used some lovely black brocade card, silver border peel-offs and some lovely 3D butterfly stickers. The flowers are hand painted of course, using Liquid pearls and Pebeo volume touch paints. Small flat backed gems were added to the centres of the larger flowers.

21st Birthday card

Well here we go again, today I have a 21st birthday card that I have made for a friend's son. I have used one of my own design rubber stamps, of my brother's car, which for anyone who's interested is a Panther!

Golden wedding card

Goodness it's ages since I have posted! I have today made  a 50th wedding anniversary card for a friend of mine. Unforunately the colour in the photo is really not good, it is actually a lot more gold than it looks, and the contrast panels are a fab burgundy card with gold foiling on it.

Santa on a mountainbike!

Whilst making christmas cards this year, I had to make some for my guy to give to some of his mountain biking friends, so I thought it would be a bit different to design a card based on him on his mountain bike. I used a photo of him riding his bike and drew this piccy of him as Santa, delivering presents to the cycle shop that I think is his second home! :)

House

Over on the Alphabet Challenge blog this week we are on H is for House, this is one of my H's. I made this little house by drawing the house on a piece of brown card, to which I added roof and brick details. The windows and door were cut from white card, coloured and adhered with micro dots. I finished off by adding the wisteria and tulips with liquid Pearls paints.

12 Days of Christmas

This is a picture that I drew for the 12 days of Christmas ATC swap on CSF, obviously I chose to do 3 French hens! LOL
